The Acoustic Fence Wrap 2.10 Grey NG is designed to go on top of or inside existing fences to reduce unwanted noise. Flexible, durable and recyclable, the Acoustic Fence Wrap NG can reduce noise up to 70% to the human ear (depending on trees, buildings and local geography). But that’s not all! This Fence Wrap is also: 

  • UV tolerant – can withstand temperatures from -20℃ to 90℃
  • Paintable – to suit any aesthetic 
  • Water-resistant – less likely to be damaged from heavy rainfall  
  • Rip resistant – to withstand strong winds
  • Washable – to keep your yard fresh and clean
  • NG (No Grommets) – a more permanent solution to your noise problems

How does the Acoustic Fence Wrap work? 

This fence wrap is made of limp-mass, high-temperature fused vinyl, AKA Mass Loaded Vinyl. The unique, polymer structure of this product turns acoustic/sound energy into tiny amounts of heat energy. This fence wrap can therefore reduce low to high sound frequencies by up to 50%.

Product FAQ

How long does it take to install The Acoustic Fence Wrap 2.10 Grey NG? 

It usually takes about 1 hour to install one panel with two people.

What do I do if the ground is uneven? 

You can fill the holes with soil. We do not want any gaps under the Acoustic Fence Wrap as sound waves travel along the ground. In addition, the product will not rot when it touches the ground or if the soil is placed along the bottom of the material.

What fixings should I use? 

For a timber fence, we recommend 45mm timber wafer head screws with 1inch washers. Refer to install instructions.

How high do I need to cover my fence? 

A standard fence is anywhere between 1.8m – 2m tall. It would be best to go the full height of the fence to reduce unwanted noise — basically, the higher the barrier, the better the noise reduction.

How much noise will be reduced once installed? 

If your fence or structure is acoustically transparent, you will get a 50% noise drop (10dB drop) to the human ear.

Can The Acoustic Fence Wrap 2.10 Grey NG be installed on any fence? 

Yes. As long as there is a structure to install on, it will work for any fence.
