Is AngelStep® GOLD8 compatible with any type of flooring?

Yes. AngelStep® GOLD8 is a universal acoustic underlay optimised for all types of floors from timber to bamboo, carpet, parquetry, cork and vinyl.

Does it matter which side the underlay is installed on?

No. The aluminium gold facing can be used up or down for a harder or softer underfoot feel. Depending on the floor finish, Acoustica will advise if an intermediate layer such as plywood or fibrous cement substrate will need to be installed.

What size packaging does this product come in?

AngelStep® GOLD8 is delivered in bags. There are 20 sheets per bag (16kg per bag).

What is the maximum amount I can order?

We can dispatch up to 200 sheets (10 bags = 160kg) on a standard timber pallet (30kg).

Stephen was excellent when preparing the quote and conducting the inspection. The installers did a very neat job and it looks great. Street noise was reduced to nil. The barking dog noise (think very loud punishing high sharp yelp which was the main reason for doing this) while not eliminated was dramatically attenuated. At no point did we expect or led to believe by the Soundproof team the dog noise would be completely removed it has however met our expectation and makes the situation far more bearable.

I’m a light sleeper and our house is right outside a main road where the traffic noise at peak hours can be quite loud and relentless. Really really impressed with my secondary glazing installed yesterday by soundproof warehouse. I was nervous about how it would look, how accessible the window should be etc and there was absolutely no need to be worried!
