Kilargo Door Seals

Kilargo door seals (IS7025si ) are a popular, slim-line perimeter seal. It is designed to fit onto an existing door stop, around the head and jambs on any single-action door. They perform best when combined with drop seals or door bottom seals.

How do Kilargo door seals work?

Kilargo door seals act as a barrier against everyday noise and improve the acoustic quality of the sealed room. They also work to dampen sound waves that travel through the gaps between the door and the frame.

Bonus benefits of Kilargo door seals

Perimeter seals improve thermal insulation by preventing heat transmission. They also reduce debris, dust and insects from sneaking into the space, which makes for a more comfortable living environment. Not to mention the energy cost benefits!

Choose your colour

Silver anodised aluminium with a grey silicone gasket and grey cover strip.

Installation Tips

If used with a face fixed threshold seal, it’s best to fit the perimeter seal to the door frame first.
Should circumstances require that the cover strip be removed, drill a small hole at the bottom of the cover strip and pull with a wire hook or suitable tool.
Ensure that the installation of this product does not impede the opening or closing of the door.
It is recommended to check the adjustment of the door seal periodically to ensure the door assembly to which it is fitted, closes and latches properly.

Yes – they can be installed on any door (inside or outside) as long as the gap is no more than 5mm and it is a single-action door.

Stephen was excellent when preparing the quote and conducting the inspection. The installers did a very neat job and it looks great. Street noise was reduced to nil. The barking dog noise (think very loud punishing high sharp yelp which was the main reason for doing this) while not eliminated was dramatically attenuated. At no point did we expect or led to believe by the Soundproof team the dog noise would be completely removed it has however met our expectation and makes the situation far more bearable.

I’m a light sleeper and our house is right outside a main road where the traffic noise at peak hours can be quite loud and relentless.
